Located at a river just outside beautiful Franschhoek, all those seeking absolute privacy, peace and quiet will find our private 5star guesthouse the perfect place to unwind.
All of our 4 guest rooms have been invidually furnished with great attention to detail. Two bedrooms each can also be used as a two-bedroom suite with either an interconnecting private corridor or an interconnecting private patio
Our 5star “Hollywood goes to Africa†style Black Bedroom offers garden views on 3 sides, has a king-sized four poster bed, zebra skins and antique chests, and a huge bathroom with a large window facing the cottage pool.
Our spacious 5star Blue Bedroom with Chinese Vases has a king-sized four poster bed, cozy armchairs for reading, antique chests, and double doors leading into the cottage garden, as well as a huge bathroom with a large window facing the cottage pool.
Our small 5star Shell-Seekers Bedroom has a king-sized four poster bed, windows facing the front garden and double doors leading onto the cottage patio, as well as a huge bathroom with a large window facing the cottage patio.
Our Cottage has a large living room cum kitchen with an open fireplace and a toilet downstairs with views of the garden on two sides and a view of the cottage patio on the third side, and a cozy bedroom and (a 4 star only) small bathroom with shower, one was basin and toilet only upstairs. From the upstairs window, you have lovely views of the Franschhoek mountains.
When renting both the Cottage and Shell-Seekers room, guests will have exclusive use of a private cottage patio. When renting both the Blue and the Black Room for self-catering and requesting this, guests will have exclusive use of the Manor Lounge.
The food is delicious, the service discreet and impeccable, the gardens unrivalled. Franschhoek Manor is not just a guesthouse, it is a luxurious property where the discerning traveler can find exquisite comfort in absolutely private, tranquil and relaxing surroundings.
Our rooms can be rented with breakfast or on a self-catering basis. Private lunches or dinners can be arranged as well.

We offer both
self-catering and Bed and Breakfast accomodation;
Our suites and rooms are set amidst romantic gardens with 24/7 access to the guest garden and guest pool and access to the owner's garden and pool every day between 9.00 and 17.00 hours. Our eclectically furnished
rooms and self-catering suites all offer air-conditioning, telephone, stereo systems and TVs, tea and coffee making facilities, bathing robes, bathroom slippers, pool towels, mini fridges, as well as an open fire place in the living room. All rooms are serviced daily and have direct access to our guest garden with a braai area next to the guest pool. Please note that due to small size of the upstairs bathroom with toilet, wash basin and shower only, the cottage was graded with 4 stars only. In order to ensure that guests have absolute peace and quiet for relaxation, please note that we do not accept children as guests. Please also note we also have a strict no smoking policy in all our rooms.
Was ist Franschhoek Manor? Wir sind ein Luxus-Gästehaus gebaut im kapholländischen Stil, das im romantischen Gourmetdorf Franschhoek liegt. Das Herrenhaus mit seinen Nebengebäuden ist umgeben von 7000 m2 Gärten mit zwei Pools, Pavillons, einem Laubengang und vielen romantischen Ecken, die zum verbleiben einladen.
Alle Gästezimmer sind individuell mit viel Liebe zu Details eingerichtet wurden. Da gäbe es den "Hollywood goes to Africa Black Room" mit Himmelbett, Zebrafellen, antiken Truhen, und Blick auf den Garten auf 3 Seiten, (das Zimmer hat ein sehr großes und helles Bad mit Blick auf den Garten),
den großzügig geschnittenen "Blue Room" mit Himmelbett, chinesischen Vasen, blau karierten Ohrensesseln und einer Doppeltür, die direkt zum Gästegarten führt, (das Zimmer hat ein sehr großes und helles Bad mit Blick auf den Gästegarten),
das Cottage mit einem Wohnzimmer im maritimen Stil und einer Küche unten und einem Mansardenzimmer in englischen Country-Stil im 1. Stock, (bitte beachten Sie, dass das Cottage wegen dem kleinen Badezimmer im Obergeschoss, das nur Dusche, WC und Waschbecken enthält, nur 4 Sterne erhielt)
und zu guter letzt noch den kuscheligen "Shell-Seekers Room" mit Muscheldeko und Blick auf den Garten zu Straße hin und einem großen hellen Bad.
Jedes unserer Zimmer hat seinen eigenen Charme. Für die Gäste des Black Room und Blue Room steht außerdem die ca. 100 m2 große Manor Suite Lounge zur Verfügung mit Küchenzeile, Bar, offenem Kamin und zwei gemütlichen Sitzecken.
Das Gästehaus bietet die Suiten und Zimmer sowohl zur Selbstverpflegung an als auch mit Frühstück, das meist auf der Hauptterrasse mit Blick auf den traumhaften Garten und die Franschhoeker Berge serviert wird.
Auf Wunsch können wir gerne auch ein Gourmet Abendessen arrangieren, das von den ehemaligen Köchen des berühmten Restaurants Bouillabaisse zusammen mit dem Gast besprochen und ausgewählt, gekocht und dann hier im Manor House oder im Garten serviert wird. Solch ein besonderes romantisches Abendessen bei Kerzenschein wird besonders von Paaren auf Hochzeitsreise gerne gebucht.
Außerdem bieten wir Massagen oder Schönheitsbehandlungen hier im Haus an; und auch ein Limousinenservice kann arrangiert werden.
Allen unseren zahlenden Gästen steht jetzt neben dem Gästegarten mit Gästepool auch täglich zwischen 9 und 17 Uhr der Hauptgarten und riesige Hauptpool der Eigentümer zur Verfügung.
